   CANTRUN/XFORM Attribute |

SILVER01HDW 5/28/2012 11:19:18 AM | How do select the CANTRUN/XFORM Attribute from the Data Window to a UDM? The results in the Data Window show Cantrun 0 = Clean, 1 = XFORM, 2 = Cantrun in the far right column.
I cannot find a CANTRUN factor in my UDM, but I did try the 'Filter Factor'. After trying every combo of Cantrun, Clean, and XFORM I'm not able to remove the negative Cantrun(2) from my results. I even tried the CANRUN filter and I'm getting the same results that i had without a filter.
   CANTRUN Gain Bet Roi Wins Plays Pct Impact 0 284.30 2580.00 1.1102 186 1290 .1442 1.0396 CLEAN 1 288.30 1994.00 1.1446 137 997 .1374 0.9908 XFORM 2 -60.60 156.00 0.6115 5 78 .0641 0.4622 CANTRUN

  Thanks.
  Bob

CLEAN avoid DIRTY horses DIRTY avoid CLEAN horses
XFORM avoid YFORM horses YFORM avoid XFORM horses
CANTRUN require CANTRUN profile CANTRUN or avoid CANRUN profile
If, after selecting the appropriate filter code in the Data Window you are having trouble making the Data Window display fitlered results:
Check the Special Filters Drop Down. This drop down has two settings:
  - No Special Filters + Apply Special Filters
Select "+ Apply Special Filters" from the drop down - try re-running your query - and you should see filtered results.

  My Reply:
After selecting FILTERS from the factors drop down on the UDM Wizard's Modify Screen, two buttons will appear:
  PRESET FILTER TOOL
  DYNAMIC FILTER TOOL
The filter codes that relate to CLEAN, DIRTY, CANTRUN, etc. are available in the Preset Filter Tool.
Here's a link to an existing thread that contains instructions for operating the Preset Filter Tool: http://www.jcapper.com/messageboard/TopicReader.asp?topic=1181&forum=JCapper%20101
