How To Sign Up For The JCapper Message Board:
If you are not a JCapper customer, Shoot me an email before you sign up. Tell me a little about yourself... the username you want... what you like about horses or handicapping... your favorite track or circuit... whether you like turf or dirt races... who you use for track video... what other software programs you've used in the past... handicapping tournaments you've played in... maybe you already know somebody using JCapper, etc.

In other words, convince me that you in fact ARE into horseracing on some level. If you can't or aren't willing to do that then feel free to browse this site but know in advance that you aren't going to have posting priviledges any time soon.

My message board has continually been the target of spambots and hackers. Unfortunately, I've had to adopt a way of doing things to keep them from taking over my board. I manually approve new sign ups. If you are legit it shouldn't be too hard to convince me to grant you posting priviledges.

If you are a Registered JCapper Program Owner, and your JCapper Message Board User Name does not contain your real name - shoot me an email so that when I activate your message board user account I can grant you access to the restricted areas of the JCapper site.

Posting Guidelines/Terms of Service
1. Refrain from advertising. No posting links to your own or other sites offering services of any kind that aren't free. No touting the services of my direct competitors without my permission. There's a fine line between mentioning something noteworthy about a competitor and making endless posts promoting their services. I think most of you realize where that line begins and ends. Cross it and your posting priviledges will be revoked. If you want to post a link to another site, and think that doing so would add value or be of use to the members of this site, ask me first. Shoot me an email. I'm a reasonable guy. I have no problem saying yes to good ideas. When in doubt: ASK.

2. No posting copyrighted material in full. You can post links to news articles and quotes from news articles if you give credit to the source. But please, don't cut and paste the entire article. If you do post copyrighted material, expect me to delete your post.

3. Don't be a troll. If you continually post stuff where the purpose of your post(s) appears to be to get under the skin of others around here then expect your posts to be deleted and expect me to revoke your posting priviledges.

4. If you are new and you have a question, chances are somebody before you has asked the same question somewhere else on this site. As a service to others, especially if you are new, I'd like to point out that JCapper DOES come with Help Docs and that this board DOES have a search function. Give both the Help Docs and the Search Function a try first. If after trying to get an answer on your own you still need help - THEN feel free to post your question. But please, try the Help Docs or do a search first.

5. Please post your questions about using the software in the JCapper 101 Forum. That's what it's there for. It makes things more organized and easier for others after you to get answers. And remember, IMHO there are no stupid questions. If you really can't find the answer on your own and want help then don't be shy: ask away.
