Right now as I type this, the Equibase cancellations page incorrectly shows that races 7 and 8 at Finger Lakes on Saturday 06-29-2019 were cancelled due to weather.

The Equibase chart data is also incorrect - and shows both races as having been cancelled due to weather.

There was zero storm activity at Finger Lakes on Saturday and both races were run. (I handicapped and bet the entire card.)

Based on what I saw in the Scratches and Changes XML over the weekend I'm about 99% certain someone at Delaware Park was attempting to post their weather cancellations info into the Encompass System and accidentally keyed the wrong track code.

I emailed Equibase about this but haven't heard back yet.

I'll come back to this thread and post an update once I know more.

After digging a little deeper, here's what I see --

JCapper related:

The data for races 7 and 8 actually did make it into the HDW FL0629F.TXT chart results file.

So no need to do anything special. Just download the file and process normally.

Non JCapper:

The PDF Charts on the Equibase site still have Finger Lakes races 7 and 8 for Saturday 06-29-2019 incorrectly listed as cancelled because of weather.

The cancellations page on the Equibase site still has Finger Lakes races 7 and 8 for Saturday 06-29-2019 incorrectly listed as cancelled because of weather.

Hopefully, Equibase will get these first two straightened out soon.

The scratches and changes xml file for Saturday 06-29-2019 has Finger Lakes races 7 and 8 incorrectly listed as cancelled because of weather.

I'm not expecting Equibase to publish a revised scratches and changes xml file.

Carry on,
