I am curious if there is a way to know which SQL Factors are being used in UDMs and which are not currently being used in any of my UDMs? I haven't looked at FastSlowPace at all and am curious about ideas of how to work with this factor.

Thanks.

In "SQL" mode , if FastSlowPace is not set up in one of the 35 factors...you wont get to use in UDM

In Playlist Mode , everything is a go..

To see what makes up your 35 factors..

Click "System Settings"
Then click "Factor Set Up Tool"

Thanks. I do understand that aspect of the system but how do I know which factors aren't being used in my UDMs? I have a number of track specific and non track specific UDMs. I figured there may be a short cut instead of looking at each UDM.

The function is called "Find Factors In Use."

There's a launch button on the very first screen of the UDM Wizard. Link to screenshot of launch button here:

The button brings up an interface that enables you to execute sql expressions to search for UDMs.

In the above screenshot, I've executed a sql expression that looks for the presence of both "GAPF01" and "GAPJPR" in the Notes field of the Profile Table. Or put another way, the sql expression I've executed causes the interface to find and list the names of SQL UDMs that have both GAPF01 and GAPJPR as part of the UDM Definition.

Hint: Clicking either of the Assist buttons causes the interface to paste a default sql expression into the box - which you can then edit. From there, once you are done editing, you can execute by clicking the Search button.

Jeff,

Unfortunately I don't see that button on my UDM Wizard.

Q. What is the Build Number displayed on the Title Bar of your JCapper Main Module?

Got it. Looks like that feature was added after the latest version of JCapper Silver was published.

Not to worry.

This afternoon I compiled a UDM Wizard Only Download Package.

Here's a link to the Release Notes PDF:
http://www.jcapper.com/helpDocs/UDMWizardOnly04162015.pdf

Also, just now, I created a download link on the JCapper Silver Program Downloads Page.

Hint: Goto the Downloads and Tech Support area of the site and look for the Program Downloads Page link in the upper right hand area of the page.

From there, read the Release Notes PDF so that you'll know what you're downloading and how to install it.

Once you do the install... it's quick because the only thing you'll be installing is a new UDM Wizard... you should find that your copy of the UDM Wizard now has the Find Factors in Use button.

A quick update...

Was doing some unit testing this morning and discovered that the UDM Wizard described in the previous post needed some touch up work.

Specifically - and limited in scope to the UDM Tagging Tool only:

1. The Save and Close button on the UDM Tagging Tool wasn't "floating" like the other buttons when the user resized the app.

2. The Exit button on the UDM Tagging Tool was working properly.

However, if the user closed down the UDM Tagging Tool by x-ing out, or clicking the "x" in the upper right hand corner of the app, the "tag date" content displayed in the main textbox wasn't being saved.

I spent some time this morning taking care of both issues.

After that I compiled a new UDM Wizard Only Download Package and Release Notes PDF.

If you installed yesterday's version (the UDM Wizard Only Download Package published 04-15-2015) I'm thinking it would probably be a good idea to take a minute or two and get today's version (the UDM Wizard Only Download Package published 04-16-2015.)
