I know to keep race files from say, Belmont from June 2010 and June 2011 in separate folders in playlist mode, but does that also apply for the starterhistory table? Thanks

If you downloading all tracks - you will run up against the file size limit.. so I limit my files by year except for the most recent...
like 2009 is a separate file. for right now I am keeping 2010 - 2011
together as the year goes on I will separate them...makes for a
little faster query response time...as Jeff says you can query different starter history files with the data window..but I like to do the last 2 years to get bigger samples...

Have found that I can populate the starthistory table with data from different years and query it just fine -- so long as I keep the jcapper2.mdb file below the m$oft 2 gig file size limit for .mdb files. Also keep data and results files from different years on separate folders -- been using 1 folder per calendar year -- which seems to be working out fine.
