I want to pull starters that take a particular drop in class. Or rise? Any way to accomplish this?

For instance, I want to look at Penn National, and starters that dropped from 5000 to 4000? Or rise in class at Charles Town from 8000 to 12500?

I know the 30% filter will get me close, just wondering if there is anyway to be specific?

Explicit changes in claiming price are not supported in the program. Why not? R&D that I did years ago clearly indicated other non traditional (and sometimes counter intuitive) class based factors were more effective roi-wise.

What I mean by that (specifically) is that the way a horse stacks up class-wise (and fig wise [the two are closely related]) vs. the field it faces today turned out to be far more important (both roi-wise and win rate-wise) than whether or not said horse was dropping/rising in claiming price... or going from a NW2L to NW3L, state bred to open, etc.

Why might that be?

After reviewing my initial R&D, I came to the conclusion that while changes in claiming price can and do have an impact in win rate, because they are visible to the public at a glance they are (for the most part) already factored into the odds.

Here's a list of class based factors built into the program that are described on the glossary of supported factors page at JCapper.com:

1. Class Consensus

2. CMI

3. Race Strength

4. Class Rating

5. Class Shift - Purse Value

6. Class Shift - Par & Race strength.

Also, the following factors have class based elements as part of their make ups:

PClass

JPRClass

There are also a handful of class based preset filters listed on the Preset Filters page at JCapper.com... currently listed as filter codes #120 - #127.

There are undoubtedly more class based areas available for use in UDMs within the program... the ones listed above are those that immediately came to mind.
