finishline 4/28/2008 4:44:15 PM | HI guy's
I have run another calculate races on another track and the Text One Report ran ok with one exception the 'pacefailure' UDM that comes with the down load did not list any horses. I checked the first track and yep thats all that was in the entries was 'pacefailure, horses. Is this how this should work. thanks again

If that box is checked, and the UDM itself is a Highlight Only UDM - then the UDM itself will appear on the HTML Report but not the Text Report. The box was put there as a means of keeping Highlight Only UDMs from cluttering up the Text Report.
Another possibility is that there are no qualifying horses for your UDMs on the Mon card(s) you are playing.
I'll be happy to take a look at it.
Shoot me an email containing both the data file(s) you are using for the Calc Races and the c:\2004\JCapper.mdb file containing your UDMs. From that I should be able to see what's going on.

finishline 5/5/2008 6:41:45 AM | Jeff, First i must apolagise for not responding iun a timeley manar' I had some stuffto take care of.
I checked the hide box and everything is ok. Still the only udm not to print on text 1 was the 'pace failure' so its not presenting any problem since thats the way i would want it. I wonder could that be hard coded. Consider case closed. If I notice problems with any other udms I will post' THANKS again for for your above and beyond support,

The reason you don't see it on the Text Report is because the program is designed to display negative expectation UDMs on the HTML Report only - not the text report.
Note: You can always make a negative expectation UDM appear on the Text Report by using the UDM Wizard to change the mark characters to those of a positive expectation UDM.
This is by design.
The HTML Report was designed to be a report allowing you to "handicap" the races.
The Text Report was designed to present a list of only those horses already screened to the point where they can be safely (not loosely) defined as potential plays.
