Adding of Min and Max Field sizes to UPR & Userfactors |
Hdcper 10/26/2009 3:40:33 PM | Jeff,
Just a question about this addition to the program. What is the advantage to setting min and max field size values to a UPR or Userfactor, rather than test it for each individual Udm that has one or more of these factors? Seems testing each individual Udm and setting these min and max values as part of the Udm might be more advantageous.
Also it would seem this might restrict finding a strong Udm using these factors in small field size races.
Just would like your thoughts on this one,
Bill

In other words, horse that rank 3rd or 4th for a particular component of your UPR could be assessed differently if the race has 12 horses than if it only has 5 horses. The idea isn't to screen out field sizes, it's to be able to evaluate them differently.
