Anybody using the Bris par times in a UDM? |
JustRalph 4/13/2009 11:46:55 PM | Just wondered if anyone is using bris par times in their UDM's
I used to have a habit of highlighting horses in a race that had at some point met the par times in the race. In fact in equisim it would do it for me...........but rarely did a horse meet the par times in all phases of a race......
just wondered if anybody has found a way to use the bris par times in a UDM
Jeff......you ever use it?

Logic in the program compares the best Bris speed figure of the horse being evaluated (Bris10) against the Bris speed par for the level of today's race. The calculation in the program looks like this:
Bris Speed Figure (Best of Last 10 vs Par) = Bris10 - Par
If you wanted to have a UDM flag horses that have run within 1 point of par, use the following preset filter:
VSPARMINNEG01 avoid Bris10 vs Par < -1
If you wanted to have a UDM flag horses that have a speed fig in at least one of their past performance lines that is >= par for today's level, use the following preset filter:
VSPARMIN00 avoid Bris10 vs Par < 0
-jp
