Happy New Year to All.

I have a UDM for NY Bred maiden races that flags the highest ranked CNX Score.

I created a new 2009 folder a placed today's AQU card in it. I'm using .PCS files

Yesterday (Dec. 31), only one horse was flagged as having the best connections.

Today (Jan. 1), all horses are flagged as having the best connections in NY Bred maiden races.

Is it me, the data, or do connection scores start all over at the beginning of the new year? I thought they would keep the scores for the meet that began in early December.

Thanks

Eric

The fields in the data files are labeled as meet trainer data in the library section of the Bris site. However the data in the files has been based on ytd stats ever since I first looked at it. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I've been using CXN Rating as a part of several UDMs - It gives me an idea of who's who at the start of new meets such as when SAR switches over to BEL, etc.

In a week to 10 days it should self correct as 2009 stats become available.

Hint: If you really want to use trainer data in your UDMs run a CXN Data Window Export on about the last 30-45 days and have a look at some of the reports. That can give you a really good idea of who's good and bad at what. From there just create a UDM or two for different categories... such as trainers who do well 1st of the claim, etc.
