Fred, No. You're probably not missing anything.

Handles for logical fig exist for UPR and UserFactors. A logical fig handle doesn't exist for UDMs - and won't any time soon.

If you've used up all 5 UserFactor slots then you have a decision to make. Would a UserFactor based on logical fig be stronger than the UserFactors currently in use?

That's the kind of decision I have to make when considering whether or not to add a new factor to the program.

The numbered factors at the top of the Data Window factors drop down weren't part of the original program - just ideas/factors I was looking at/experimenting with at the time JCapper was first released... rankForLogicalFig would be included among those factors.

Here's a link to another thread where this has been discussed:
http://www.jcapper.com/messageboard/TopicReader.asp?topic=228&forum=JCapper%20101

It comes down to this:

Adding any new factor to the program requires a significant investment time-wise in terms of programming hours burned.

Free time is at a premium. Best use of my time has been and always will be to spend it working on ideas showing the most promise.

I have to weigh programming hours and observed roi in the Data Window for the requested factor against the same for new ideas/program features currently being worked on.

Which means future work on the numbered factors in the drop down like logical fig isn't going to happen any time soon - unless someone changes my mind by showing me a significant data sample where the requested factor is strong enough roi-wise to be a difference maker.

Unfortunately that's what it comes down to. I hope you can understand.
