Translate would let you use it in its pure form... allowing you to make one of your UserFactors into exactly the same thing as PaceFig_4f_InLast so that the UserFactor could then be "grabbed" and used as part of a UDM.
Using rank, numeric value, or gap would let you use PaceFig_4f_InLast as part of the factor mix for something bigger and better... Example: maybe you want to use it as one of many factors as part of a comprehensive power rating.
