I have a large sample udm that is just screaming for a max tpace gap of 1.3. Unfortunately the dynamic filter won't accomplish my goal. I thought that by going to the complete view profile2 table I could set the tpace test to -1 and the tpacemaxgap to 1.3 and do it that way. For some reason when I do this the tpace gap limit is not recognized. Am I missing something?

Actually, you CAN do it using the UDM Wizard:

1. In the Dynamic Filter Tool, select TPace Gap as your factor.

2. Select ALL Classes and Ages as your Context.

3. Select MAX as your Behavior.

4. Select Prompt For Value as your Numeric Cutoff and key in "1" (without the quote characters.)

5. Then hit the Add Filter Button followed by the Save and Close Button.

In the UDM Wizard you'll see the following characters displayed in the textbox as part of your filter code:

MAX1

6. Manually edit that part of the filter code to read:

MAX1.3

7. Hit the Save Button.

In the Data Window:

Select TPace Gap as your factor. Set the Start Range Drop Down to 0, the Interval Drop Down to .10, and the Individual Plays Drop Down to + Show Individual Plays. Then run your UDM through the Data Window. You should see your TPace Gap cutoff being enforced at 1.30.

Double check by looking at the indivual plays... find a day with multiple plays, load the .DAT file for that day into the program, run a Calc Races, and double check your HTML Report against what you see in the Data Window.

If you encounter any trouble let me know.
