| JustRalph 10/15/2008 5:53:22 PM | I am wondering if anybody has developed a UDM for recognizing a possible speed duel? The classic scenario of two horses going at it up front and setting it up for a closer........ I have been racking my pea brain for a few days, and would love to hear any suggestions? | JackB 10/15/2008 7:52:14 PM | Look at pace index some.I don't have a UDM like you're asking. I look at the bottom left of the HTML report where pace index and race volotility are. When pace index is lower <70, I lean towards the frontend rankings. When it's large, say in the 80's and up, I'll lean a little more towards the late rankings.
