The speed fig from the horse's most recent running line (no matter which data vendor you use) can be accessed in the Data Window as follows:

Data Window in Playlist File Mode
Select one of the following from the factors drop down:
61 lastRaceBrisFig
62 rankForLastRaceBrisFig
63 diffForLastRaceBrisFig

Data Window in SQL Mode
Select the appropriate SQL-F slot item from the factors drop down.

Hint: In sql mode, factor assignment to SQL-F slots is something that can be customized by the user.

Hint: To see a list of factors and their assigned SQL-F slot numbers, hit the display factors button on the sql expression tool.

Hint: To make the Data Window redisplay data instead of a factor list hit the display factors button on the sql expression tool a 2nd time.

In the Silver program download package, the factor Last Race Speed Fig is assigned to slot number 08. Assuming that you haven't made any changes to that, if you want to run a Data Window query and have the results broken out by rank for Last Race Speed Fig: select SQL-F08 Rank from the factors drop down before executing the query.

"Jeff, I'm using hdw files. So that I understand: If I want to test out rank for most recent running line hdw Cramer speed fig in the data window I use 61 lastracebrisFig, correct? If I want to incorporate rank for most recent running line hdw Cramer speed fig in a playlist udm I use the LRBF preset filter codes, correct? And if I want to do the same in a sql udm and have made no changes to the factor setup I do something like rankf08=1, correct?"

Correct on all counts.
