They changed the track code from HOL to BHP (requires a programming change.)

Am working on it - and expect to include it as part of the next new program update.

Until then, use the Live Play Module in ML/Manual Mode for the HOL/BHP track code.

Jeff will this fix make it so the Hollywood scratches show up in the xml script?

No need to wait for a programming change from me for that Jim. Scratch BOT (as is) will parse Hollywood Park scratches and changes from the XML using the following settings:

HDW Data Customers:

1. 1st 3 characters of data file name: HOL

Therefore track field entry in trackAbbreviations table is: HOL

2. Equibase listing for track_name in the xml is: Betfair Hollywood Park

Therefore Notes field entry in trackAbbreviations table is: Betfair Hollywood Park

Brisnet Data Customers:

1. 1st 3 characters of data file name: BHP

Therefore track field entry in trackAbbreviations table is: BHP

2. Equibase listing for track_name in the xml is: Betfair Hollywood Park

Therefore Notes field entry in trackAbbreviations table is: Betfair Hollywood Park

That's it!

Been a while since your last new program update?

(All of the "data sheet" table interfaces were replaced by Wizard Style Interfaces... the last one about a year ago.)

Recommend either:

1. Installing the latest new program update.

or

2. Checking out the Cannot Initialize Data Bindings thread in the Downloads and Tech Support area (you'll have to be logged in to read the thread) and after reading the needed background info - installing the patch I wrote that re-registers the dlls needed to run the "data sheet" grid control table interfaces.

i just updated the program no more than two weeks ago and
I don't see anything resembling a table wizard for the track abbreviations.fortunately after getting home I found that I am able to modify the table with no errors on my desktop. I'm not sure what the issue is on my laptop.

Jim, based on what you just posted I went looking for an instance (any instance) of a button in JCapper that would launch an older "data sheet" grid style interface for the TrackAbbreviations table. I was 98% sure that they'd all been replaced.

Guess what?

I found one on the System Settings Interface. (It was never my intent for that to still be there.)

I'd bet that's what you clicked to get the "cannot initialize data bindings" message on your laptop.

I'm going to replace that button with one that launches the same "wizard" style interface that comes with the more recent published versions of Scratch Bot.

that's the one I first used Jeff, the systems interface button.
