While using twin spires and looking at the report viewer I got a warning from AVG that a malicious virus was detected in the report viewer. AVG deleted some files and after reboot clicking the report viewer gives me an error 53 file not found. Oops. Any suggestions.
I guess the first step would be to copy the needed files back onto the c:\JCapper\Exe folder and possibly the default data folder persisted in the DFM where the Calc Races was generated.
The easiest way to do this would be to close all open JCapper program windows, turn off UAC, (requires a restart if you are using Win7) navigate to your c:\JCapperBuild folder, find the download package .exe file for the latest program version that you downloaded, run the extractor by giving it a double click, and when the the Install Wizard comes up: run a Perform JCapper Install.
I'm guessing that the anti-virus program left the JCapper.mdb and JCapper2.mdb files intact and that you do not need to check the box on the face of the Installer to overwrite the JCapper2.mdb file.
Checking the Leave Data Folders Untouched box on the face of the installer before running the Perform JCapper Install will prevent you from having to reset your active data folders in the DFM when the install is complete.
