| pabennett 2/2/2012 12:11:10 AM | When trying to build an UPR, there are two factors listed under 'form'. One called staminaimprov and the other paceimprov. I do not see them listed in the data window in playlist mode so I do not know how to test these factors. Are they named something else in the data window? Has anyone else been able to test these factors in the data window? I would like to do some data window research but I'm not quite sure where to start. Can anyone shed some light?

| jeff 2/2/2012 10:03:03 AM | Both were purposely removed from list of numbered factors appearing in the Data Window some time ago. Neither was ever a separate factor that became part of the program. Both started out as things I was testing at one time and were later used as inputs for factors that did become part of the program. StaminaImprov became one of the inputs used in the Stamina Rating algorithm. PaceImprov became one of the inputs used in both the Early Consensus and Form Consensus algorithms. At the time both were removed from the Data Window, I did make them "grab-able" so that they could be used as inputs when creating UPR and UserFactors in the Platinum program. The way to test them would be to create a new UPR GroupName, select one or the other (StaminaImprov or PaceImprov) from the available factors list - select *ALL for surface and distance - select 3 Translate for Behavior - and hit the Save button. From there, go into the User Sys Defs Screen and activate your new GroupName. - Then build a database or two from scratch using Mode 1 so as to not overwrite current data sitting in your StarterHistory table. The final step would be to test out your new UPR GroupName in the Data Window. -jp .
