I was just playing around with a spot play looking to increase the hit rate and stumbled on to this filter.

It seems to work quite well with this play.

Can someone tell me what it is and how to use it?

Maybe not available with the Silver program?

Regards,

Most of the numbered options (like 83 topFigDiff) are not part of the program... just things I was working on at one time.

In this case, 83 topFigDiff was an early version of something that would later be added to the program: Last Race Speed Fig.

The key difference between the two is that in the early version (83 topFigDiff) gap was determined using data for every horse in the race (without consideration for scratches.)

The later version, Last Race Speed Fig, gap (the difference between the current horse being analyzed and the race top) is determined (and changes) each time a horse is scratched from the race.

In playlist file mode, there are preset filter codes for handling Last Race Speed Fig... all of them begin with the characters "LRBF" (without the quotes.)

In sql mode, Last Race Speed Fig appears in the SQL Factor Setup Tool; it is labeled as LASTRACEBRISFIG - making it possible for the user to assign it to one of the 35 F-factor slot numbers.

Also, in JCapper Platinum, in the Impact Values Table Wizard, LASTRACEBRISFIG appears in the factors drop down - making it possible for the user to "grab" it so that the factor can be used to create UPR and/or UserFactors.

Thank-you

I promised myself I would not do anymore research for a while and spend more time with my family.

I have quite enough for the 1st quarter of this year.

Yet, here I am, spending long hours looking at obscure filters, trying to find an advantage.
