| tennoel 1/1/2012 4:47:09 PM | What would be required in order to switch back and forth from hdw data and bris data for comparison for a month or so? Rename Jcapper and jcapper2 files? Data in separate folders of course. Anything else?

| jeff 1/1/2012 11:50:51 PM | • Change the Data Vendor Setting in the User Sys Defs Screen. • Each data vendor gets its own folder... Brisnet files in a Brisnet folder... HDW files in an HDW folder. • If you are operating in Sql Mode: each data vendor gets its own JCapper2.mdb file... Brisnet StarterHistory data in one JCapper2.mdb file... HDW StarterHistory data in another... You will need to verify JCapper2.mdb file names before running a Build Database routine. • Once you have enough data, you'll likely find it beneficial to develop two sets of active UDMs... one for Brisnet and one for HDW. -jp . ~Edited by: jeff on: 1/1/2012 at: 11:50:51 PM~

| jeff 1/2/2012 5:46:23 PM | My above post should have included the following: When to verify/change the Data Vendor setting in the User Sys Defs Screen: • Before running a build database routine. • Before loading data files into the program to run a Calc Races routine. It goes without saying the above applies only if you are using more than one data vendor. Iif you are using one data vendor, then persist the appropriate Data Vendor setting and be done with it. -jp .
