I only play 2 or 3 different tracks and I was wondering how to keep the data files.

Should I keep them all in one file: C:\2011 or should I separate them: C:\2011DED,C:\2011LAD,C:\2011WOX?
I am using Bris data by the way.

Keeping them in different folders makes downloading and file-building very tedious. There's no reason why you'd need to keep them separate.

If you are only downloading (and playing) a small number of tracks over the course of a year - then a yearly folder makes sense.

Create one folder per calendar year.

Download the current year's files to that folder.

At the start of each new year, download that year's files to the folder for that year.

The file names themselves have elements for month and day but not year. For that reason, never attempt to mix files from different years on the same folder.
