HDW Files for 01-08-2026 Data Integrity Issue Bad Race Dates |
jeff 1/8/2026 11:16:07 AM | HDW Files for 01-08-2026 have a Data Integrity Issue.
After loading files this morning, I got a Bad Race Dates Warning while attempting to get TrackWeather History.
From there I ran a Calc Races and the Race Dates on my SQL Html Report failed the eyeball test.
Many of the races have 2025 as the year for the race date.
I called Ryan Smith at HDW and told him what I'm seeing.
They're going through it right now as I type this.
As soon as they get it straightened out they will remake today's 01-08-2026 race files and get them up on the download server.
I'll come back to this thread and post an update once that happens (or as soon as I know more.)
Now you know what I know.

jeff 1/8/2026 2:45:55 PM | They did get it resolved, and ended up making 8 new data files for today 01-08-2026:
CT0108J.ZIP DED0108J.ZIP FG0108J.ZIP GP0108J.ZIP PHA0108J.ZIP SA0108J.ZIP TP0108J.ZIP TUP0108J.ZIP
The original (bad) data files included PEN0108 and TAM0108 which aren't running today 01-08-2026 (but apparently did run last year on 01-08-2025.)
They had to manually remake the Index File (the list of files that displays when you click the Queue Data Files button on the HDW/JCapper File Download Tool.)
MVR0108 cancelled today but still shows on the remade Index File. (Probably best to nuke it if you download it.)
