UNINSTALL INFO Overview When JCapper is installed it doesn't write itself into the system registry. For that reason, if you go into Windows Control Panel and look at installed programs, no information about JCapper will be displayed. Uninstalling JCapper simply involves deleting JCapper files and/or folders. If you have done a previous JCapper install, you should have the following folder structure sitting on your hard drive: c:\JCapperBuild (created by you: your Build Folder) c:\2004 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2005 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2006 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2007 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2008 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2009 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2010 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2011 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2012 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2013 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\2014 (created by the installer if not already present) c:\JCapper (created by the installer if not already present) c:\JCapper\exe (created by the installer if not already present) c:\JCapper\ocx (created by the installer if not already present) Delete JCapper Folders Make sure that there are no non JCapper files you need sitting in the above folders and simply delete each of the the above folders. If there are non JCapper files sitting in the above folders, copy them someplace else before deleting the folder. This scenario is most likely if you have copied data or results files to your c:\2004 through c:\2011 folders. One other potential gotcha to avoid: Because the c:\2004, c:\2005, c:\2006, etc. folders have very generic names, there is a possibility that programs other than JCapper may be using them. Before deleting these folders you have to KNOW - do not guess - that none of your other programs are using these folders. If you are unsure, there is no real harm in leaving these folders intact until you become sure. You can always delete them at a later time. To delete a folder, using Windows Explorer, right click on the folder name and select delete. Delete JCapper Desktop Shortcut Right Click on the JCapper Desktop ShortCut and select DELETE. After deleting the folders and shortcut, JCapper is uninstalled. That's it!!!
