Building Databases in JCapper 2025 Part 5
Running the very first DBBuild of a New Calendar Quarter
Maximize the Player to Watch & hit the Escape key to shrink afterwards
Steps:
• Set the Current Avtive DataFolder in the DFM to the New Calendar Quarter.
• Download J.ZIP Data Files and F.ZIP Chart Files for the New Quarter.
• Run a .JCP File Build on the downloaded J.ZIP Files.
• Run an .XRD File Build on the downloaded F.ZIP Files.
• Look at the RaceOFF_Exceptions.TXT File and resolve any Hard Warnings.
• Run a TrackWeather Resolved Races spanning the dates of the F.ZIP Files.
• Launch the DBBuilder and run a Recovery Setup Routine.
• Because this is the very first build on the new Folder Run a DBBuild in Mode 4.
That's It!
The StarterHistory or StarterHistory2025 Table (which table depends on your Enhanced Settings) is now updated with data for the newly added Race Cards.
Run subsequent DBBuilds on the Current Active DataFolder in Mode 5 as new Race Cards are added.
