When it comes to building datbabases, your job just got easier. Five Database Build Modes have been added to the Database Builder's
main screen - one for each of the most common build scenarios that all of us repeatedly encounter.
Instead of having to figure out which checkboxes to check (or not check) on the DB Builder Screen, all you have to do now is select the
appropriate numbered Build Mode from the drop down for the type of build you are about to run - and the interface will auto check the
appropriate boxes for you. Fast, simple, effective.
I've also cut two new videos demonstrating how to use Build Modes, and updated the Building JCapper Databases Help Doc to include sections on Build Modes, Best Practices, and a Screenshot Gallery. In this program update I've added a new Data Folder Manager launch button (labeled DFM) to the face of the JCapper Main Module. You no longer have to go into the System Settings Interface to launch the Data Folder Manager. From now on you can launch the Data Folder Manager directly from the Main Module. You'll also find two new buttons on the UDM Wizard's SQL Expression Tool: an ALL Button and an Assist Button. These buttons behave just like the ALL and Assist buttons found on the SQL Expression Tool in the Data Window. Creating SQL Expressions has never been easier. When you give either button a click the interface auto populates the Expression Tool's textbox for you with valid sql which you can edit from there to complete your sql expression.
New for 3-30-2010: This program update introduces a new module called The JCapper Past Performance
Generator. With this module you will be able to use HDW and Brisnet data files to generate detailed past performance data reports. In
addition to having the look and feel of traditional past performances, whenever you use the module to render reports for race cards where
you have run a Calc Races in sql mode, the module will insert a table onto the report for each horse displaying JCapper numbers controlled
by the individual user's Custom Report Layout as well as a UDM List showing the active SQL UDMs flagging each horse.

New for 3-22-2010: This program update introduces a new module called The HDW File Download Tool - making it ridiculously easy
to que, select, and download files from the HDW site. The module also includes a Synch to Disc button which auto selects all files available
for download on the HDW site that you do not already have sitting on your target folder.
This program update also includes an upgraded Live Play Module that has a built
in takeout table and the ability to parse pool totals and amount wagered on each horse so that it can render decimal odds thus improving the
accuracy of its probability estimates. This program update also includes an Exacta Tool that parses exacta will pays and compares them to
calculated fair pay exacta values - and presents you with a report of the overlaid exacta combinations. This program update also includes a
Data Window that enables you to connect to (switch back and forth between) multiple JCapper2.mdb files. It also includes a nice add to the
SQL UDM Wizard: Template buttons that when clicked auto populate the expression tool with valid SQL for dirt sprints, dirt routes, turf
sprints, turf routes, making UDMs track specific, adding trainer names, and adding rider names.
New for 2-28-2010: This program update contains support for HDW JCapper Data Files. This program update also contains support for
using the previously released Consensus Factors in UDMs.
New for 11-12-2009: This program update contains functionality for handling Brisnet Multicaps Data Files. It also contains the
ability to perform a true sort of the races on the SQL Mode HTML Report by post time in military time
as described on the JCapper Message Board.
New for 10-23-2009: This program update contains support for Building JCapper Databases in SQL Mode!
New for 10-07-2009: This program update contains a more robust interface for SQL Mode F-Factor and Customizeable HTML Report Setup,
a lightning fast Profile Marker (SQL Mode only), and the New Scratch BOT discussed in the private area of the JCapper Message Board. It also
contains an error/checking validation routine in the Main Module that handles TSN files with bad workout dates.
New for 9-20-2009: This MAJOR program update is the official NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH of JCapper in SQL Mode. The new program version contains support for SQL UDMs in the
UDM Wizard, Data Window, and Profile Marker... meaning that now you can run Calc Races routines in SQL Mode. This program update also contains
the new Consensus factors (hint: they're VERY good)... ESP RaceShape, the new Race Summary, a fully customizeable HTML Report, and the new

New for 8-28-2009: This program update contains the Factor Setup Tool and SQL Enabled Data Window as featured in the two new videos and
described in detail on the JCapper Message Board. After setting up your factors in the Setup Tool and running a Data Window Export
to get data into your StarterHistory Table you'll be able to shift the Data Window into SQL Mode and run Data Window queries that are lightning fast.
New for 7-17-2009: This program update contains algorithms that evaluate off the turf races in a new way as described in detail on the
JCapper Message Board. This program update also contains Distance Cycle, new behaviors for UPR Tools, the ability to have UDMs flag horses
from your own Watch List, the ability to write UDMs that flag horses by month, and the ability to perform R&D in the Data Window in a way that
allows you to handicap for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and find horses likely to finish off the board.
New for 7-03-2009: This program update contains the new Data Folder Manager featured in the video that I posted in the private area of
the JCapper site. This program update also contains enhanced UPRTools functionality. I've added 3 new behaviors to the interface. Now you can
use simple arithmetic functions such as addition and subtraction when you create UPR. To see this new feature in action, how easy it is to use,

New for 6-27-2009: The IVTable Wizard UPR Tools Interface in this program version contains the factor category buttons featured
in the UPR Tools Video. Want to have the interface find and select the best available factor not yet selected from the early speed
category? It's easy. Give the early speed button one click. This is the only change from the 6-26-2009 program version.
New for 6-26-2009: The IVTable Wizard in this program version has the "guided tour"
UPR Tools Interface featured in the UPR Tools Video.
The ability to import UPR and UserFactor GroupNames has also been added to the IVTable Wizard.
The UDM Wizard in this program update contains the Name Selection Tool featured in the Cool New Stuff Video.
Functionality for performing an Access Compact and Repair Database and functionality for
Expanding the following fields in the Profile Table from text data type to memo data type have been added to the UDM Wizard's Import
Screen: Trainername, Ridername, Ownername, RestrictTrackList, and AvoidTrackList. Note: users are not required to rebuild databases
from scratch after installing this program update provided they have kept current with and installed previous program updates.
New for 6-15-2009: New factors: WillToWin, DriveType, HorseType, and Stage Readiness. Clickable +/- symbols added to The Live Play Module for
each horse - These are active whenever the module is operated in ML/Manual mode - which makes finding min acceptable odds easy and painless
when you are using your ADW's conditional wagering interface.
New for 4-29-2009: FastSlowPace and FastSlowFinal have been rescaled to exist as positive numbers as described in the Private Area of the JCapper
Message Board.
New for 3-26-2009: Data Window Exacta Matrices, Calendar Control for Data Window date ranges,
New Factors: FastSlowPace and FastSlowFinal, "Weight Like Jeff" option in UPR Tools, and more.
