| Acorn54 8/5/2025 9:00:37 AM | hi jeff. i made a mlr model and want to test it. i have two folders with hdw data and results (june in my Q2 folder and july-august in my Q3 folder) i want to populate the mlr model with Q2 data and validate it with Q3 folder.) this is in sql mode, which i am using, i am no longer using jcapper in playlist mode. what build mode do i set the build database module at to accomplish my goal?

For SQL Mode DBBuilds on past data: Mode 3. Very first DBBuild on your first folder. Mode 4. Very first DBBuild on each subsequent folder. After that for SQL Mode DBBuilds on newly added current/daily data: Mode 5. The morning after yesterday's races when you have yesterday's .JCP Files and yesterday's Chart Result Files sitting on your Current Active Data Folder. Hint: If you want to shorten the learning curve the JCapper 101 Class Outline in Help Docs #1 and #2 is your friend. -jp .
