JCapper Silver 2025-2026 New Full Program Download Package

In about 2 hours I am going to release a new Full Program Download Package for JCapper Silver 2025-2026.
The new program update delivers many new features - including decimal turns, and the correct course (downhill or main) for those 500+ Santa Anita Turf Races I've written about.
There are parts of the program (The Enhanced Settings Module and TrackWeather Module for starters) you won't be able to access just yet.
But I'll take care of that on a case by case basis over the next few weeks.
Right now as I type this I have the 'guts' of the Main Module torn open:
I've been going through it one Function() at a time, looking at variable declarations, data types, and loop structure - eliminating bottlenecks and cranking up program execution speed significantly.
I still have a few weeks of work ahead of me before I can release that.
And I can't put the Main Module back together and publish it as part of a new program update until I've gone ALL the way through it.
But, I absolutely needed to get today's release up on the download server- because:
There are new HDW Data Customers who have prepaid for data - and I have made them wait long enough.
The Main Module in today's release is from a source code backup I made on 7/12/2026 just before I tore open the Main Module and began going through it.
If you are wondering why the rel date stamped on the Main Module in today's release is 7/12/2026 and the Program Download package is stamped 7/29/2026:
The .JCP Field Mapping Text File shows the following:
706 - 715 Reserved
However, there is an option in the User's Enhanced Settings to populate those fields with an HDW Fast Workout Indicator.
HDW defines a Fast Workout as True or False. True means the workout was among the fastest 10 percent of all works at that track code and distance over the most recent 365 days.
Otherwise that workout is assigned a value of False meaning NOT among the fastest 10 percent of all works at that track code and distance over the most recent 365 days.
The new program uses my own Enhanced Settings as the default. (It was the fastest way for me to get the new program out.)
You'll find that fields 706 to 715 in the .JCP File are populated with an HDW Fast Workout indicator as follows: "1" - HDW Fast Workout (True) "" - HDW Fast Workout (False)(Zero Length String)
It's a useful data point to have. If you are building your own application this is something you'll likely want to capture in your data.
