On Tues 8/19/2025 the races at Assiniboia Downs went off about an hour later than their normal/historical post times.

This was a first for them and it tripped up my source code in the HDW File Mgr.

As a result the HDW File Mgr flagged races 1-5 as AM post times instead of PM.

Equibase doesn't have an AM/PM indicator in their race offs. (They view the race off data point as "for display purposes only" and aren't about to change any time soon.)

AM/PM for all race offs in the HDW File Mgr are handled by one of my algorithms (based on historical race offs for every track.)

Why does this matter?

Having AM Race Offs instead of PM has no impact on Horse and Race Data.

But it does have an impact on Weather Data.

It causes the Resolved Races Routine to use AM weather observations for races 1-5 instead of PM weather observations (basically off by 12 hours.)

I noticed this a few minutes ago because it stuck out like a sore thumb on my Race Off Exceptions Report.

To get this corrected I did the following:

1. Verified Equibase Race Offs for the ASD 08-19-2025 card using track video (they are correct.)

2. Added new source code for ASD to the Nighttime/Daytime algorithm in the HDW File Mgr.

3. Tested the new source code (it handles the later start times at ASD correctly.)

This is the entry on my Race Off Exceptions Report after rerunning an xrd file build for the ASD 08-19-2025 card:

What you need to do:

1. Delete the ASD0819.XRD file (to prevent it from making it into your next DBBuild.)

2. Bookmark this post and the ASD 08-19-2025 card.

As soon as I release the new program update I'll come back to this thread and post an update.

After installing the new program update you should be able to:

1. Rerun an xrd file build routine on the ASD 08-19-2025 card using the 08-21-2025 HDW File Mgr.

2. Rerun a Resolved Races Routine for the ASD 08-19-2025 card using the new TrackWeather Module.

3. Add the ASD 08-19-2025 card to your StarterHistory or StarterHistory2025 table (depending on your Enhanced Settings) in the normal manner with your next DBBuild.

Sorry for the long post.

Hope I typed most of this out in a way that makes sense,
