Upgrade for existing JCapper customers

• A Second Profile Table - This design change means that virtually all factors in the program will eventually be available in the UDM Wizard. No, not right away - but as I can get to them. Of course those 700+ Preset Filters will still be supported. But this design change means that eventually you won't need to use them if you don't want to.



• Live Play Module - This is a new module that has the following features:
  • A built in Web Browser (Internet Explorer) that lets you browse live tote odds. When you browse the odds for a race it is no different than opening up Internet Explorer and clicking on a link to a website where you have a registered account to view that site. You will need a TSN or Bris account in good standing to use the Live Play Module in live play mode. JCapper uses Bris and TSN files. You should already have a Bris or TSN account to get your files. Read between the lines.
  • A simple HTML Report that shows one race at a time. You'll see your own UDMs along with Tote Probability, Odds Line Ratios, and Overlay Highlighting applied based on your own user settings.
  • An internal engine that calculates an extremely accurate Tote Prob and Odds Line.
  • Internal Scratch Parser. Scratched horses are picked up automatically from the live tote page. When a fresh scratch is found you are presented with a message box and the current race is recalculated and redisplayed almost instantly. No, this is not the same thing as a Calculate Races routine run by the Main Module. It is a Fast Race Calc where the Tote Prob is redone based on the remaining horses in the race. My own experience indicates two things: 1. Scratches that happen at the gate do not give the player enough time to run a Main Module Calc Races (even for a single race) and 2. The Fast Calc in the Live Play Module is close enough to the real thing that I have no qualms whatsoever about using it in my own live play.



• New Compound Factor Set - Here is a list of the new factors introduced with JCapper2007:
  • AFR - Advanced Form Rating
  • Alchemy - JPRClass scaled between 0-100 with some additional factor weights thrown in.
  • CFA - Competitive Figure Ability
  • Consistency - This is a class rating based on money earned.
  • JPR - JCapper Power Rating - This is the default power rating shipped with the program.
  • JPRClass - JPR Class Rating - a raw impact value based power rating initially designed for the turf.
  • JPRMLProb - JPR Morning Line Probability - a very accurate probability before the odds are known.
  • JPROfMLFav1 - JPR of the Morning Line Favorite
  • JPRToteProb - JPR Tote Probability - a very accurate probability once the odds are known.
  • MLOR3 - Morning Line Odds Ratio 3 - Morning Line divided by JPRML OddsLine.
  • OR3 - Odds Ratio 3 - Tote Odds divided by JPRTote OddsLine.
  • PEDRating - The Bris Distance Pedigree Rating.
  • PRating - A power rating I developed (and kept around) somewhere between Alchemy and JPR.
  • QRating - A power rating I developed (and kept around) as an improvemt to Bris Prime Power.
  • UPR - User Defined Power Rating - YOUR job is to create this. I'm just providing the interface.
  • UPRMLProb - UPR Morning Line Probability - probability before the odds are known based on UPR.
  • UPRToteProb - UPR Tote Probability - probability as the odds are known based on UPR.



• ImpactValues Table Interface - This is a spreadsheet style interface to an Impact Values Table where the user can enter Impact Values as displayed in the Data Window for dozens (so far) of different factors. The factors can easliy be weighted according to user preference. Impact Value Table entries can also be selectively applied to different race types: track code, distance, surface, class descriptor, etc. The whole idea is to allow the user to create a custom power rating that can be tested in the Data Window, seen on the HTML Report, and used in UDMs. In my own research I have found that it is possible to tailor a custom power rating to specific surfaces and distances with the end result being a power rating far more effective in terms of roi than generic one size fits all power ratings such as JRating, Prime Power, or JPR.

1. On your date of purchase, initial password entry sets the program expiration date for the first 35 days of ownership.



2. The first 30 days of ownership is also the 30 day money back guarantee period. You may obtain a full refund during this time period simply by asking me for your money back.



3. After the 30 day money back guarantee period has been satisfied, I will send you a download link to an Activation File. After you download and open the Activation File, your Registered Program Copy will no longer have an expiration date.


Further Notes on passwords-
Notice the initial password gets you 35 days. Notice the money back guarantee period is 30 days. There is an overlap period. This should allow for things like email service being down, etc.
