Please understand something:   At some point we are going to sit down at the table with track management and horsemen's groups and negotiate on your behalf. If nothing else we plan on making them painfully aware how their antics are hurting the game and alienating the customer. Having the names of real people in our member database serves two purposes. First, it gives us a way to keep you updated with our goals and progress towards those goals. Second, when we do sit down to negotiate, having real names puts us in a much better bargaining position than if we had a list composed of people's internet handles only. If you are a known personality on an internet message board you should know that submitting your real name and address will help us far more than submitting a handle such as PaceMaster7f ever will. Please: we are asking for real names only.

Privacy Policy
You should know that we value and respect the privacy of our members. You should further know that we hate spam and junk mail every bit as much as you do. We therefore promise not to sell, rent, or otherwise share member names with third parties or advertising firms. We collect member names and addresses for one reason only: There is strength in numbers. When we sit down with track management and horsemen's groups to negotiate on your behalf we want them to take us seriously. They will only do that if they know that we are on the level - that we do in fact represent bettors in numbers who are less than thrilled with what track management and horsemen's groups are doing to the game that we love.

Why is the HANA New Member Sign Up Form on the JCapper server?
HANA is currently operating on a shoestring. As one of HANA's founders Jeff was kind enough to donate free programming time to develop the HANA site. The HTML portion of the HANA site is currently hosted on a server belonging to Gametheory who posts at PaceAdvantage.com. Rather than spend addtional money each month to have the database portion of the HANA site hosted on its own server, Jeff has agreed to host it on his JCapper server. This arrangement allows HANA to maintain a proper site at the lowest possible monthly cost: none.
